The Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University would like to take this moment to condole the passing away of one of Buddhist’s Great Leaders and Scholars, the Most Ven. Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda Nayaka Maha Thera, who passed away in 31st August 2006.

He was a prolific writer and speaker who is receiving many honorariums including an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Philosophy from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in 26th April 2001.

We would like to invite the Rector, Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Dhammakosajarn to the stage to receive a portrait of the Late Venerable from representatives of
Malaysian and Singapore. In place of Most Ven. B. Sri Saranankara Sangha Nayaka Maha Thero who left for some urgent activities in Malaysia is Ven. Thitadhammo. Accompanying him is Mr. Goh Seng Chai to represent the Malaysians to receive a memorium from the Rector.
