The Enligntenment
Sotthiya,
the grass-carrier, presented eight bundles of grass
to the Prince who took and scattered the grass under
the Bodhi tree and sat upon it with His face towards
the East. He through spiritual practice attained to
the full Enlightenment at down of Vesakha Full Moon
Day.
